NEW FEMALE ABLUTIONS and stand-by facility

Due to the new employment equity regulations eThekwini's Electricity North-Western Electricity Depot was required to employ more female staff. However, they had insufficient facilities to cater for the increased number of female staff, this contract provided the additional facilities required.

The scope of the work under this contract comprised:

 

• Construction of new female toilets, change room, store, showers, kitchen and dining room

• Construction of new female standby room with ablution facilities, store, kitchen, lounge area and veranda

• Paving to walkways and external areas

• Water tank construction and external wash area
