NEW ARCHITECTURE HEADQUARTERS

The Deputy Head of the eThekwini ENGINEERING Unit Architecture Department has initiated a process to re-vision the space within which the Architecture Department currently occupies. This process will look at the design and development of a new Architecture Headquarters which meets the growing demands of the Department and represents all the disciplines and aspects of the services which the Department provides.

The Deputy Head has called for a new multi-story headquarters building which is an architectural marvel. In addition the building needs lead the way in terms of sustainable initiatives and design. A net zero-carbon building has been proposed.
